The Rhythmic Arts Project Annual event has been taking place for more than ten years now.

Hosted by Edward James Olmos along with Tracy Lehr of KEYT, Santa Barbara.

Over 100 musicians and various entertainers from all over the world have participated in the past. This year is no exception with some of the world’s greatest players including Terry Bozzio, David Garfield and friends with John Pena, Chad Wackerman and Doug Web. The TRAP All Star Percussion Ensemble will include Hani Naser, Richie “Gajate” Garcia, The Reyes Family, Walfredo SR., JR., Lilliana and Danny, Jorge Bermudez, Miguelito Leon, Hector Torres, Rick Geragi, Chris Truillo and Luis Conte. And, in case you haven’t heard enough drums, “The AfroTango Ensemble” will take us all to Argentina!

The incomparable “Teresa James and the Rhythm Tramps” as well as “Flip Diggity” with Chris Pinnick, Eddie Tuduri, Steve Nelson, Marty Fera and Carl Graves will also perform.

Combined, these players have recorded on more than 2000 records and CD’s

A cast of amazing players, good food, drink, silent auction, bake sale, and a family friendly environment with face painting, slides and sand box for the children, The TRAP Family Picnic promises to be a day that no-one will soon forget.
